The Practice now offers in-house asessment and advice with our Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner. Appointments can be made via reception for assessment of any muscle/joint pain.
The Practice also runs an extensive range of chronic disease management sessions which are managed by the Practice Nurses in conjunction with a named doctor.

- Chronic Obstructive Airways Disease (Chest problems)
- Blood Pressure
- Epilepsy
- Family Planning
- Sexual Health
- Cervical Screening
- Minor Surgery (Health Care Assistant assists Doctor)
- Travel vaccinations (initial assessment required at least 6 weeks prior to travelling)
- Flu Vaccinations (seasonal)
- Dementia
- Mental Health
- Well Man / Well Woman
- Blood Tests
- Smoking Cessation
- Diet Advice
- Drug Dependence Clinic
The Nurse can also see patients with Minor Illnesses – it is not always essential to see a doctor – the reception team can advise on this.
APPOINTMENTS – Routine appointments can be made with the Practice Nurses or the Health Care Assistant or you may receive a letter asking you to book an appointment for a particular reason.
The Health Visitors deal with Child Health issues and the District Nurses with the care of patients in the home.
